Role Summary:

The Production Associate is responsible for the manufacturing of steel components and products.

Essential Responsibility:

• Operate required machinery and equipment.
• Move heavy loads of raw materials to production lines with the use of an overhead crane.
• Move components and finished products with the use of jib cranes, designated carts, and forklifts.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production.
• Meet all production deadlines.
• Conduct inspections and quality control of components and products.
• Prepare materials as required, including cutting, sawing, grinding, marking, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift. (Onsite forklift training/verification).
• Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 50 LBS.

Preferred Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Familiar with production equipment and machinery
• Prior experience in a production setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
